Coalition Simple Survey


A separate survey (convenience sample) was administered to 12 MCPP members to determine their perception of MCPP’s impact on their respective campuses. The results of the survey indicated:
  • 100% of MCPP members responded that MCPP initiatives have been valuable in alcohol misuse prevention.
  • 75% of MCPP members thought that TIPS alcohol intervention and QPR suicide gatekeeper training have been valuable to their college/university.
  • 100% of MCPP members noted that resources and incentives available through the MCPP partnership have been valuable in supporting alcohol misuse prevention on their campuses.
 

Social Media Awareness Campaign Survey


  • 63.87% of students who saw the alcohol awareness and prevention posters STRONGLY AGREED/AGREED that they are more aware of alcohol misuse because of reading the posters.
  • 83.77% of those who read the alcohol misuse tweets said they STRONGLY AGREED/AGREED that they are more aware of alcohol misuse because of the tweets.
  • 81.56% of those who saw the alcohol misuse Facebook posts said they STRONGLY AGREED/AGREED that they are more aware of alcohol misuse because of the posts.
