Mental Health

Our goal is to promote a widespread understanding about mental illness and reduce myths that contribute to stigma and discrimination. We serve as liaisons between students and the mental health community and we encourage students to seek help as soon as possible. Program outreach concentrates on the most common disorders faced by college students including depression, anxiety, self-injury and eating disorders. Mississippi State has a student led chapter of Active Minds which is a national organization to promote mental health advocacy and education.
